Hayward Heat Pumps
When to purchase a Hayward Heat Pump: Heat Pumps are
mostly found in the warmer areas of the USA. Heat pumps work off of
existing heat in the air and have a hard time working Effetely below 60
degrees. Heat Pumps are very energy efficient and maintains a pools
temperature, not used for quick heating of a pool . The cost to operate a Heat
Pump is more than half of the common Natural gas or Propane Gas Heaters. A
Heat is more expensive up front but will save many thousand of dollars over the
lifetime of the heater. Heat pumps work off of Electricity 60amp req. on
most units.
Best used with a solar cover as with all heaters.
